2014/15 New Electricity Prices

On 30 May 2014, the Queensland Competition Authority published the 2014/15 regulated retail electricity prices. These prices took effect 1 July 2014.

Time of Use prices

Is most of your electricity use outside peak times (4-8pm weekdays)?

You might benefit from Time of Use pricing. It has a higher fixed charge, but has lower prices for electricity used outside peak times.

When are peak times?

To be eligible for Tariff 13, customers must have at least 4kW cooling capacity of PeakSmart air conditioning able to be managed by Energex or Ergon.
